Job Summary
We are currently on the hunt for an estimator and pricing technician to join Razin's team to estimate and prepare bills of materials and quantities as well as estimation of costs.
Job Responsibilities
Study the enquiries received for woodwork, joinery and furniture works.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BoM)
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ) to be verified by the factory manager or project manager, ensuring the correctness of quantities before preparing any cost estimation.
Get the updated price list for every item in the BoM from the procurement manager to ensure all items are correctly priced.
Prepare a draft estimation and discuss it with the factory manager to ensure the correctness of the cost estimation for approval.
Prepare a quotation summary based on the final cost estimation and obtain the signature of the factory manager.
Prepare the actual cost estimation after the contract is signed to enable the production department to execute the works.
Prepare Description/Speculations & Bill of Quantities for all projects.
Preparation of revised quotation as per agreed time.
Preparation of variations and additional scope as per requirements.
Determine the needed quantities from drawings.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in woodwork and furniture production
Language: English is a must, Arabic (preferred)
